    How do cartridges work?

    Each cartridge contains 2 shots and can be reloaded in 3-5 seconds by hand. 

    Active AIIRO® cartridges contain a powerful irritant gel that sticks to the target, disabling them for up to an hour. Trainer cartridges do not contain irritant and are safe to use for practice.

    Can I refill cartridges?

    No, do not attempt to refill or disassemble. Refill cartridges are available for sale on our website. 

    What is AIIRO®?

    AIIRO® is a small less-lethal defense tool that launches powerful blasts of sticky and debilitating chemical irritant gel. Effects last up to an hour, giving you plenty of time to get to safety and find help. Quick and easy to reload, each cartridge holds two payloads and has a shelf life of 2 years. AIIRO® is equipped with with a button activated 120dB alarm (not included in CORE model.)
